It seems hash tagging AD kills the reach, it does so much worse than my organic posts. Is there a reason it has to be hash-tagged?

Also I’ve just done a pro Bono (charity/free) post and there was no option to remove the #ad so the brand told me they discussed with Tribe who advised to work outside the tribe app. Now I’ve been penalised for missing a submission which I haven’t

Totally agree! The ASA doesn't state you need to hashtag, just state AD

I agree, all sponsored posts kill the reach. Some people do remove the tags I've seen on lots of Tribe ads where people replace it with AD only, wonder how they do when it's monitored.

It’s better to state [ AD ] in the beginning of the caption. That way it’s the first thing they read. Also it seems like paid tagging also lowers my reach! It sucksss. When I wait 6-12 hours it does so much better. But I also don’t wanna get in trouble. Instagram always wants you to pay promotion/ad 😭

I agree! Same for me, Instagram does not allow posts with #ad reach as many people as normal posts. I think simple AD may do better.
